GREEN DESIGN-ORIENTED PRODUCT AHP LIFE CYCLEENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT MODEL

The basic concept and methodology of LCA (Life CyclernAssessment) is introduced briefly, and then some problemsrnand challenges of relevant researches are pointed out. In thisrnstudy, under the framework of ISO14000, an AHP (AnalyticrnHierarchy Process) Life Cycle Environmental ImpactrnAssessment Model is proposed. An index system frameworkrnis built at the same time. Some advantages of this methodrnsuch as flexibility, Definiteness, and transparency arerndiscussed. It can be used and integrated in product GreenrnDesign process easily. Finally, a case study illustrates thernmethodology.
