摘要

Denizli-Klzlldere Geothermal Field is the first geothermal field suitable for electricity production. The water disposed away from the power plant has a capacity of 1500 tons/h and contains boron approximately 30 mg/dm~3. The level of boron is high to use this waste for irrigation in agricultural areas. Therefore the permitted level of boron in irrigation water is 1 mg/dm~3. In this research, experiments were carried out to investigate the optimum conditions of boron removal from Denizli-Klzlldere Geothermal waste water by utilizing ion-exchange method.
