Manganese recovery from lead-zinc ore of `Draznja' deposit

Pb-Zn ore deposit "Draznja" located near the city of Pristina and belongs to Vardar texture zone within Dinarids. So far, the discovered mining reserves are several million tons with medium content of 1,70 Pb, 2,60 Zn and 16percent Mn. The content of the ore sample was as follows: 0,36percent Pb, 1.71percent Zn, 18,84percent Mn and 9,40percent Fe. By applying Zn, Fe and Mn flotation, heavy-media preconcentration and high-intensity magnetic concentrationand their combination Fe and Mn carbonate minerals were recovered.
