Submerged Turret Loading Buoy based Offshore Gas Receiving Terminals for LNG and CNG

The Submerged Turret Loading Buoy System (STL~(TM)),rnwhich is well proven in the North Sea for Offshore Loading ofrnCrude Oil, is now developed for Discharge of Gas and will bernused as an Offshore LNG receiving Terminal. Presently tworn138,000 m~3 LNG Carriers are being constructed at DaewoornShipyard with onboard re-gasification and shipboard systemrnfor connection to the STL Buoy. The first Submerged LoadingrnBuoy based Offshore LNG Receiving Terminal installationrnwill be in Gulf of Mexico – West Cameron Block 603. Thernpaper presents the technology and how the same loadingrntechnology system can be used for CNG Vessels; both forrnloading and offloading of Natural Gas.
