Spatial disaggregated emissions inventory for Cyprus

摘要

In order for the model to be developed, an extensive study of Geographic Information Systems, Web Services and Database Systems was conducted. A blend of these technologies was made and the result was a system with a user-friendly and simple interface from the client side and a sophisticated computational infrastructure from the server side.rnA detailed emissions inventory has been compiled for Cyprus and a high resolution spatial and temporal distribution of emissions has been realised using the above model. This model can be applied in other countries or areas as long as the necessary activity and spatial data are available.
