Method for evaluating the performance of range imaging devices

Abstract: formance of range imaging devices is determined by many factors, but no common practice exists for testing and evaluating them. We describe in this paper a test method developed for our internal use which estimates certain specific performance factors such as resolution, repeatability and accuracy.
