A mathematical model of the linear control system over wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is proposed in this paper, which can be described as a discrete-time linear system with time-varying delays. A delay-dependent robust H∞ controller design method is presented for the model considering the effect of parameter uncertainties. By solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), the stability and robustness of the system can be obtained. A modified genetic algorithm (GA) is employed to find the optimal parameters of LMIs. Numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
