RESEARCH OF THE CHANGE TREND OF EVALUATION ERRORS OF THECOVERAGE FACTOR IN INDIRECT MEASUREMENTS

摘要

The results of research of evaluation error ofthe coverage factor with approximate method of effectivenumber degrees of freedom in indirect measurements havebeen presented in the paper. Comparison of the resultsobtained with the known evaluation of these errors in directmeasurements enabled to determine the change tendency ofthe errors of coverage factor evaluation, when the number ofcomponents of standard uncertainties grows. The knowledgeof coverage factor characteristics for the convolution ofthree selected probability distributions was used for theresearch.
