We held the first programming session for Squeak programmers on January 31st 2003 in Japan. This session was modeled after "Camp Smalltalk" currently performed in the United States, Germany, etc. In Camp Smalltalk, programmers usually form small teams and develop useful programs/patches together in a rather short period (about one week). We were given a special booth in a corner of the C5 conference. Although we had only three hours for programming, we corrected some of the bugs in Squeak and extended a few classes. Moreover, there was a lecture for beginners who participated in the conference.
