摘要

The tribological properties of UHMWPE and its modified compounds were studied under the condition of sea water lubrication. The results of investigation have shown that under the pressure of 20MPa and at the condition of lubrication of sea water, UHMWPE and it modified compounds pairing up respectively with titanium alloy exhibited excellent tribological behaviour. But when the pressure exceeded 20MPa, all the tested material except pure UHMWPE and glass beads filled UHMWPE could not work normally pairing up repectively with titanium alloy.
