A Supply Chain Design Model with Unreliable Supply

摘要

There are many uncertainties within a supply chain, and they have big impacts on the performance of the supplyrnchain. We propose a model that takes into consideration the unreliable nature of the supply chain, analyze thernproperties of its optimal solution and design an algorithm to solve the model e±ciently. Computational experimentsrnsuggest some interesting managerial insights on how uncertain factors impact key supply chain design decisions.
