An N-tiered Architecture for Intenret Online Multimedia Data Cataloguing

As an international bibliographical standard, MARC (MAchien Readaable Cataloguing) has widely been adopted in the library domain. Since the release of UNIMARC by IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) in 1994, China instituted the corresponding CNMARC (2) in 1995 as bibliography standard for the relating departments. From the perspective of computer, MARC defines the standard data format for various medias (textual materials, serials, sound&video recording, etc).
