ON ROBUSTNESS OF MULTIRATE CONTROL SYSTEMS

By presenting an equivalence between a class of multirate control systems and control systems usinggeneralized sampled and hold functions, this paper provides an analysis of the robustness of multiratecontrol systems under unstructured model perturbations. It is argued that system robustness isdegraded by the multirate sampling mechanism.
