In this paper, a fault diagnosis approach is proposed to improve the integrity of Global Navigation System. Optimal parity vector is used to detect and diagnose satellite faults and improve the effectiveness of satellite fault diagnosis, especially for small fault. Simulation results show that correct detection rate and correct diagnosis rate of using optimal parity vector method is higher than that of using generalized likelihood test for detecting small fault. And, optimal parity vector method can also shorten time spent on detecting fault. Thereby this method improves system reliability.
