摘要

The main goal of this work was to develop alow-cost carbon-based printed strain sensors array and to evaluate its suitability for application in structural health monitoring (SHM) of bridges. Sensors embedded in the array were designed to provide compensation for temperature variations and to enable their use in different seasons. Because our sensors were made using cost-effective methods and materials, their resulting low cost combined with their promising performance may enable their mass application and lead to significant improvements in the safety of civil infrastructure.
