In the biological tissue such as fish skin, guanine microcrystals, which are synthesized in chromatophore cell, are genetically designed to metallic luster. This biologically synthesized organic crystal has micro scale and thin plate shape. Maximum plane of this micro crystal has high light reflectance. Our past studies revealed the high anisotropy of dia-magnetic susceptibility of this guanine microcrystal. Technique of dia-magnetic orientation of this crystal enable us to control intensity of light reflection on the microcrystal. In the present study, we investigate the effects of reflected light from the crystal, which is assumed to affect the detecting sensitivity of emission of bioluminescence. By using luciferin-luciferase chemical reaction to irradiate the crystals from the neighborhood of their surface.
