This paper proposes to describe a methodology to develop a measuring device that stores data on the volume of water consumed per bath, time and duration. The results are used to point out the economic solution based on the evaluation of the monthly total costs of water consumption per dwelling, comparing solar water heating systems, electric shower, associated electric shower with photovoltaic generation and solar water heating associated with generation photovoltaic. The energy analysis is performed with the consumption data collected in the main circuit and in photovoltaic generation. The total monthly costs of input consumptions and the installation cost diluted over the useful life of the equipment were established, it was proved that the lowest cost solution per bath is photovoltaic.
