摘要

A TEM H-plane horn antenna based on double-layer textured printed ridge gap waveguide (PRGW)configuration is introduced. This configuration of the RGW is providing the horn aperture with almost uniform amplitude distribution because of realizing PMC-like boundary condition around the lateral edges of the H-plane horn aperture. Besides, the TEM-RGW enables the horn to have a double thickness of the radiating aperture and therefore improved impedance bandwidth as compared to the quasi-TEM-RGW configuration with the same bandgap.
