摘要

The fundamental idea of any integrated power system is to operate more efficiently and at the same time to operate most economically. The cost of generation of real power at different generating units can be minimized for any given load demand. Apart from cost, environmental emission is also to be considered as growing emissions all over the world are creating a major havoc to living environment. So the idea of balanced economic and emission dispatch makes it a multi objective optimization problem to be solved. For solving this problem a well-known non-traditional PSO optimization is chosen, and 14bus and 30bus IEEE test systems are taken and simulated results are compared with genetic algorithm (GA).
