This paper presents the influence of distance, resonance frequency and constructive aspects of the coils for Wireless Power Transfer (WPT), showing the best configuration according to the needs of the application, especially for the automotive battery charging, situation factors such as the distance between the emitter and the receiver, the size of the coil used and alignment make implementation difficult. The behavior between the coils includes wire turns, along with other coils of several wire turns, and is simulated computationally and analyzed to verify what is the better performance. The results are presented for resonance frequencies varying between 100kHz and 1MHz, spacing from 1 to 180cm, showing the behavior of the efficiency curve for application in electric vehicles. Five different configurations are addressed by varying, in addition to the number of turns, the diameters of the coil wires. Simulations of yield curves are compared with experimental results to validate the reliability of the calculation.
