A Research on the Development Strategies for Renewable Energy Consumption

Energy is an essential material basis for human society and also a basis element of the national economy. The efficiency of energy use and reasonable energy consumption is in relation to the socioeconomic sustainable development.On account of global limited fossil energy reserves, all countries attach importance to the development of renewable energy. The paper uses Heilongjiang Province as a case to study the relationship between renewable energy consumption and economic growth of Heilongjiang Province. The results show that there is not a long-term cointegration relationship between economic growth and renewable energy consumption in Heilongjiang province.Economic growth is a direct result of the increase in renewable energy consumption, but the increase in renewable energy consumption can not lead to economic growth.From the gray comprehensive correlation degree view, economic growth and renewable energy consumption associated with a higher degree, so the role of renewable energy should not be ignored.Finally, based on Empirical findings, the development strategies of renewable energy are given.
