摘要

A microwave imaging system that is sensitive for different tissue densities which can image phantoms of patient scale using a large field of view was developed. The different imaging parameters including noise, position and contrast resolutions of this microwave system based on a single transducer and receiver were characterized and an image reconstruction algorithm based on holographic back-projection was developed to reconstruct 2D microwave images.
