摘要

The traditional inspection method for distribution lines is manual inspection, which uses paper media to record work content. This method has many shortcomings, it is highly susceptible to human factors, and the management cost is too high. It is failed to understand the inspection status of the patrol. In order to improve the efficiency and quality of inspection and improve economics, State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company has developed an on-board intelligent inspection system for distribution lines. The detection probe installs on the top of the vehicle, which is composed of visible light camera, infrared thermography, and ultrasonic testing device. Due to the ultrasonic testing device is installed in the detection probe; therefore the distance from the detected object is far away, which affects the accuracy of data collection. In tackling these questions, this paper designs an on-board detection device suitable for distribution lines inspection and proposes installation method.
