Interaction between titanium and silicon, and that between titanium and aluminum in molten iron were investigated at 1873 K from the distribution ratios of titanium, silicon and aluminum between molten iron and silver phases. The former interaction was found to be strong, while the latter considerably small. The extent of each interaction was evaluated by deriving the following interaction parameters.rnε_(Si)~(Ti) = 166 (±9), e_(Si)~(Ti)= 0.84 (±0.05), e_(Ti)~(Si)=1.43 (±0.07)rnε_(Al)~(Ti)= 3.21 (±1.20), e_(Al)~(Ti)= 0.016 (± 0.005), e_(Ti)~(Al) =(± 0.006).
