The relationships between the contrast of silver halide digital print media and image qualities of digital prints, which including the reproduction of 1-pixel line images and the uniformity of solid images, were studied quantitatively. When the overlapping rate of exposure light beams was 33%, a trade-off between the sharpness of 1-pixel line image and the unevenness of solid image was observed But the unevenness of solid image was decreased with an increase in the overlapping rate of exposure light beams. And when the overlapping rate was 50%, density unevenness was not observed regardless of the degree of sample paper contrast.
