In color-photographic negative material, with blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide (AgX) emulsion layer(s) containing yellow, magenta and cyan couplers respectively on a base, in which AgX comprises = 95 mole-% silver chloride (AgCl), at least one AgX emulsion layer shows solarization and contains diorganyl-selenium or -tellurium compound(s) (I) or seleno- or telluro-carbonyl, phosphinous, phosphonous or organometallic compound(s) (II). In color-photographic negative material, with blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide (AgX) emulsion layer(s) containing yellow, magenta and cyan couplers respectively on a base, in which AgX comprises = 95 mole-% silver chloride (AgCl), at least one AgX emulsion layer shows solarization and contains diorganyl-selenium or -tellurium compound(s) (I) or seleno- or telluro-carbonyl, phosphinous, phosphonous or organometallic compound(s) (II) of the formulae: X = selenium (Se) or tellurium (Te); R1, R2 = alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkenyl, acylmethyl, acyl, cyano (CN), organostannyl, organoplumbyl, organostannylene, organoplumbylene, the residue of an organic transition complex bound by a transition metal atoms or a group bound by sulfur (S) or together a group completing a 5-7-membered heterocycle; A = a carbon (C) atom of a seleno- or tellurocarbonyl group forming part of a heterocycle, a phosphorus (P) atom as constituent of a phosphine, a phosphinous or phosphonous ester or amide group or chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo) or tungsten (W) linked to an organometallic group or to several carbonyl or isonitrile groups or carbene functions .
