摘要

The running safety of train on structures at earthquake is one of the most important design requirements for railway structures in seismic areas. This criteria was studied using a vehicle/structure dynamic interaction analysis program for high speed trains. It was found that the running safety of train was improved when the fundamental natural frequency of structure in the transverse direction became higher and would be recommended to be higher than 2 Hz. Then, a technique to raise the natural frequency and control response of structure using steel-plate-damper and steel brace elements placed in RC frame was studied. A shaking table test were conducted using 1/2.5 scaled model RC frame structure. Through the test, it was revealed that the natural frequency of the structure was easily raised and had been kept high enough until the fracture of damper, and the displacement of the specimen was well restrained to improve the running safety of train at earthquake.
