Derivatives of electric field and magneticrnflux density in the close range from a subsequent returnrnstroke are calculated by using a return stroke modelrnand are compared with a rocket triggered experiment.rnThe model takes account of existence of a connectingrnleader. Calculated waveforms of derivatives of electricrnfield and magnetic flux density assuming a typicalrnreturn stroke speed agree well to the measured waveforms.rnThe amplitude of calculated derivatives of magneticrnflux density, however, does not.
