摘要

Dense carbon fiber-reinforced hBN composites were fabricated using reactive sintering aids, Si_3N_4,SiO_2 and Y_2O_3, by filament winding method followed by hot pressing in N_2 flow. The most suitable temperature for fabrication was found to be 1800℃. The bending strength of the composites at room and elevated temperatures showed excellent properties, namely, it increased enormously as test temperature increased. The strength at 1600℃ reached double of the one at room temperature.
