Development, Implementation and Registration of an Environmental Management System (EMS) to ISO 14001.

This paper will address the successful implementation of anrnenvironmental management system registered to ISO 14001rn(1) in an oilfield service company. The EMS covers bothrnonshore and offshore requirements and works within thernhighly regulated environment of the UK sector of the NorthrnSea. The paper presents a historical case study from initiationrnand preliminary review, through implementation to successfulrnregistration of the EMS to ISO 14001.
