This paper discusses the steps that are involved in implementing a storage and backup solutions across anrnorganization. Always reliable infrastructure is a must for an organization. Usually, the need of backup service is not feltrnuntil one looses some critical data, which causes major damage to organization. To avoid loss of data,rnorganizations will have some sort of back up service running on their network. A sound back up strategy is arnmust for every network [1]. One has to first determine the critical and other data of an organization; then knowrnthe new technologies and services that are available for safe guarding the data. Data is one of the most precious assetsrnof an organization. Presented here, are the study and analysis to be carried out and the available new storagerntechnologies.
