Methodology for Software Framework Development

摘要

The experience obtained in developing the security and presentation frameworks (under ROOF [2] - VBU Telecom) and from the experimental application of OOAD techniques like Catalysis for the same has provided valuable insights into the generic structure of frameworks and mechanisms useful in describing and designing them.rnThe paper uses these insights to provide a formal approach for framework development. The methodology addresses all aspects of framework development from conceptualization to testing. This paper describes separate methodologies for architecting, designing and implementing software frameworks and developing applications based on frameworks.
