The policy of globalisation followed by many countries is changing the world'srnfinancial markets. This has led to deregulate the financial practices in financialrnmarkets in most countries. This is providing opportunities to manyrninstitutional investors to invest in foreign financial instruments. Indianrnfinancial markets are also adapting themselves to the new global changingrnscenario. Information Technology is providing a lot of concepts to face thernnew realities in the financial markets created due to globalisation. While otherrntechnologies tend to be applicable only in specific industries and well definedrnareas of operation, the potential for information technology is wider.rnKnowledge management, Data warehouse and Virtual Reality ae among thernnumber of other concepts provided by Information technology.
