1. SulfaTrap has introduced a new sorbent for removing organic sulfur compounds (and H_2S) from NGL and other liquid hydrocarbon streamsrn2. Laboratory experiments and early field test results suggest that the new sorbents achieve high sulfur removal efficiency and stable operation in multiple-cycle testsrn3. For natural gas, total operating cost will be $0.05 to 0.32 per barrel of C4+ and C4 treated (~7,000 bpd output)rn3.1 Assuming the value of C4 at $350/ton C4, the OPEX represents about 1.1% of the product valuern3.2 For C4+, OPEX is less than 0.4% of the total product valuern4.
