STUDY ON MULTI-MODE PROJECT SCHEDULING PROBLEM WITH FLEXIBLE RESOURCE-CONSTRAINT

All of the literatures dealt with RCPSP assume a completely rigid resource-constraint, which means the contractors schedule the projects only according to their self-owned resources. In fact the contractors would like to get additional resources if the earnings to do so exceeding corresponding cost. Namely, the resource-constraint is not completely rigid, but flexible in some degree. We put forward the multi mode project scheduling problem with flexible resource-constraint (MMPSP-FRC), analyze its relationship with other researches on PSP, select maximizing the project NPV as the objective, and formulate mathematic model of the problem. Finally, we give several recommendations for future research.
