摘要

The main way of polymer waste disposal is still storage. It is the simplest and the most economical method in Poland, but it requires a lot of time and capacious areas. One of the methods to increase the speed of the polymeric materials degradation in environmental conditions and decrease of dumping ground area is filling polyolefin's waste with wooden flour. Polyolefin's are suitable for material recycling because of their thermoplastic properties and respectively high resistance to degradation at processing conditions.The aim of the research was to obtain PP and PP/HDPE composites with wood flour (50/50). PP and PP/HDPE blend with different content of EVA (ethylene vinylacetate copolymer) were used. The polymers properties are shown in table Ⅰ.
