Design of the Xtrac 6012 Transaxle for a High Performance Supercar

摘要

This paper shows the specification used for the design of the Xtrac 6012 gearbox, developed for high performance supercar applications, and how the optimum gearbox configuration was achieved. It also shows the bearing and gear ratings for the gearbox, and demonstrates that theoretical modeling for the synchronizer system and the oil system has been validated with rig testing.
