New High Quality Surface Materials for Automotive Interiors

摘要

Composite sheets and textile laminates with polyurethane surfaces are presented as new high quality materials for automotive interiors. Due to their elastomer properties crosslinked polyurethanes provide superior ageing and life time performance. With new production techniques modern fine structured high resolution grains can be realized in polyurethane materials. The large number of textile, foil or foam carriers gives a high variability in product characteristics and enables the production of taylor-made decorative materials.
