A process treating large amounts of lead dusts by the conventional sinter roasting-blast furnace smelting is developed. Twenty-four thousand tons of lead dusts stored have been treated together with a large proportion of lead dusts from sinter roasting process. It not only has relaxed the tension of fund and raw material shortage, but also reduced the hold up o fund in the process and set up a new sinter roasting method for treating materials with low-sulfur and low-lead content.
