摘要

FIR filter is an essential tool in digital signal processing and is widely used in many of the signal processing applications. In this paper, generation of sound effects like echo and Gaussian noise is successfully implemented using MATLAB and removal of the same effects have been designed (analysis). Application of Digital Signal Processing is one of the rapidly growing fields for audio signal processing [1]. Real-time sound effect generation is an important aspect and challenging as well. Elimination of Gaussian noise is done by using a band pass filter design. This paper focuses on the applications of Digital Signal Processing. Effect of sound on audio signals is the most popular application of DSPs. Analyst result of MATLAB simulation outlines the effects of Echo and noise on the audio signal. Low pass filters are used to eliminate noise to some extent. This paper emphasizes on the implementation and design of required effects to audio input.
