The Geographic Application to the Digital Water Resource

This paper discusses the basic work flow and application system building for the water resource application from the geographic point of view. Our starting point is that the stable and successful application system should have a good basic RS/GIS platform. The best RS/GIS commercial system like ERDAS IMAGINE/ArcGIS can be most benefit for their work, for example, making use of water resource based on RS, prediction of flood and disaster reduction, and also expert decision-making system building. This is because they have enough and well-done functionalities like expert classifier, Virtual GIS and C developer tool, and spatial analysis and so on. Finally we outline a basic frame of the Water resource geographic application
