In case of conducting measures on peaty soft ground, the construction period and the constructionrncost are in a trade-off situation. On the other hand, recently in road business of Japan, the limited construction timernand the adoption of economical measures are both required. In this report, test execution was performed using wallshapedrnfloating-type ground improvement with different values of improvement width and strength. This paperrnreports on the stability of embankments as well as the deformation of improved ground and lateral fields in relationrnto the method. The stress acting on the improved structures was examined using FE analysis.
