Building 3D geological model with seismic interpretation data is very important to engineering geological evaluation, oil and gas reservoir. In this paper, a 3D spatial model with the thoughts of feature and wire frame is presented on the characteristic of seismic interpretation data, and the validity criteria of modelling and realization approach are discussed. The notion of the wire frame components (volume element) represented with outline of geological blocks is proposed to organize the topology of elements of simple blocks and the topology among themselves. On the viewpoint of the boundary representation, this paper suggested a modelling process that can be decomposed into four parts: data pre-process, wire frame construction, geological faces modelling and sealed block construction. With the help of the wire frame component, an automatic identification of three dimensional blocks approach is proposed for sealing the model, in which the directed edges and directed triangles are used as the basic searching unit. An example of modelling with the seismic interpretation data is given.
