The impervious wall is of underground hidden works and impacted by many factors of construction process and methods as well as geologic conditions, it is unavoidably to exist some quality problems, this paper makes a study on theoretical model aiming at detecting the quality of impervious wall by reflection method according to test principle of reflection method, studies the propagation and reflection of stress wave in the two dimensional elasticity tabular mass, deduces the corresponding formula, and proves the effectiveness of reflection method on quality detection of impervious wall; and analyzes the problems of geometric dispersion and etc of this method shown in the testing, and it is to carry out the inspection in practical application, in order to reflect exactly the continuity of wall body and problems existed in it, the detecting section is arranged longitudinally along wall top, the offsetting of emission and reception is zero and they should be moved synchronously, the integration of the acceleration signal obtained by testing is transformed to velocity waveform via corresponding software, and then these collected-continuously data generates a kind of continuous time-amplitude profile, it can be by this to settle: 1. continuity of impervious wall body; 2. defect detection of mixed mud and blow hole etc, it evaluates the quality of wall body comprehensively, and provides a rapid and effective detection method for non-destructive test of impervious wall woks.
