Geosynthetic pack piles were manufactured by using polyester (PET) and Basaltrnwoven mats and their properties in weak ground reinforcement applications werernexamined. The purpose of these packs is to facilitate and act as flexible forms for thernconstruction of concrete piles. Experimental data from tests, geosynthetic pack pilesrnwere evaluated and compared. Index tests and large-scale laboratory pullout testsrnwere performed. Basalt woven mats showed better performance as compared to PETrnmats in terms of tensile properties and chemical resistance. On the other hand, PETrnmats showed excellent seam strength and pullout properties than Basalt woven mat.rnEspecially, 10T/m PET mat showed the most stable pullout property among testedrngeosynthetics pack piles.
