摘要

The capacity of rice husk ash for the removal of lead from aqueous solution has been investigated under different conditions, namely contact time, initial solution pH, and initial lead ion concentration. Its removal capability and removal rate is considerably higher and faster respectively. The Bangham equation can be use to express the mechanism for adsorption to Pb ions using rice husk ash. A maximum lead removal was observed near a pH of 5.60 and the maximum amount of adsorption of lead was 12.63 mg/g. Equilibrium removal Pb ion by ADR followed typical adsorption isotherms and fitted both the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. It has been found that rice husk ash is a good adsorbent for lead in aqueous solution.
