The model of "surface combustion" supposing that the detonation process of a heterogeneous charge goes only within the phase limits of explosive itself and velocity and pressure detonation dependence on the charge density is defined by changing the volume concentration of an explosive, in particular, by changing the superficial combustion surface and the "length of path" in the explosives that can be calculated from geometrical consideration has been offered. A good agreement of literature experimental data and theoretical relationships has been shown.
