A MULTI-AGENT FRAMEWORK FOR MODELING SUPPLY CHAINS

In the research of complex supply chain systems, simulation is a very important approach. In this paper, we first present a multi-agent framework for supply chain simulation. This framework is based on multi-agent theories and the needs for supply chain research, which is different not only with traditional simulation models, but also with multi-agent frameworks for applications. Based on our framework, we designed a mechanism to carry out the simulation. At the end of this paper, we give a simple example to demonstrate our framework and solution.
