摘要

Two-stage axial flow pump can be used as thruster of vessels. It has several advantages such as high efficiency, good performance, good capability of anti-cavication, more steady and less noise. The control finite volume method is used to simulation the flow field inside a two-stage axial flow pump. The standard k- ε turbulence model and SIMPLEC algorithm are applied to do the analysis. Compared with the experiment data, the results show that the turbulence model and numerical method employed here are precise and applicable to analyze the real flow phenomena. Farther more, on the base of simulation we can give efficiency prediction of the equipment and apply some ideas on how to optimize the design.
