Flow fields Measurement in Moisture separator Using a DualPDA System

摘要

In this paper, the flow fields in a moisture separator are measured, by using a new type of laser measuign instrument--Dual Mode Particle Dynamics Analyzer(DualPDA). The velocity components and the particle size distributions of water droplets on several typial sections are obtained. By analyzed and discussed, the separating mechanics of moisture separator are proved, and some new opinions for increasing the separating efficinecy are put forward. On the other hand, some experimental methods by using the precious instrument DualPDA are introduced.
